| Did you know that GoldMine also should be periodically optimized to maintain
maximum performance?. We offer programs for quarterly and yearly maintenance of
your system. |

| The SagaClean program consists of the following 4 Point diagnostic analysis
and maintenance plan: |
| |
1. GoldMine installation Maintenance:
|
| |
a) Installed on the server properly.
b) Install the workstations so they are executing the application locally and
only use the network to access database files.
c) Ensure that the GoldLink is configured on each local workstation and that it
is working for both Word and Excel.
d) If GoldSync is installed make sure the GoldSync Administration Center is
properly configured.
e) Make sure GoldSync is running as a service.
f) Make sure the remote laptops are installed properly and that the company
sync standard time periods are being followed.

2. GoldMine Data Maintenance:
|
| |
a) Make sure that there is a
periodic maintenance schedule and it is being followed.
b) Re-index the database, (only on servers hosting a dbf database).
c) Re-index the database, (only on remote installs hosting a dbf database).
d) Monitor the size of the database and make sure that there is at least two
and a half times the size of free space on the server as the size of the
GoldMine installation.
e) Monitor database growth and stored procedures (only on servers hosting a SQL
database).

3. GoldMine Program Maintenance:
|
| |
a) Update GoldMine to latest
available build (based on UPP).
|
| |
4. GoldMine Utility Maintenance:
|
| |
a) Verify proper backup.
b) Verify and clean the BDE configuration file.
