Senior Network Engineer / Consultant

Job Responsibilities
|
|
|
This is an upper level Management position. The COO reports directly to the President of the Company and is responsible for all technical activities inside and outside of Saga’s realm. The position of Chief Operations Officer Technical Service’s requires the individual to be responsible for both the internal workings of the Saga network and of our clients Sales, Marketing, IPCC and Customer Support Systems. The person must have at least 10 years experience in the technology field and has displayed progress in position elevation and job responsibilities. The individual is responsible for assessment of the technical needs of existing and potential Saga clients, and offer project plans that fall within the scope and budget of the client. The individual will also be relied on to support junior level engineers from knowledge and a project management perspective. He/ She will also manage the relationships with our technical contractors, managing their schedules and projects.
The person will have financial responsibility with regards to scheduling his/her resources in the most efficient manner. The Goal of 80% productivity must be adhered to as a company standard. The individual must be able to work well in a team environment and must be cognizant of the client needs at all times. We will not accept less then 100 % of customer service effort to make our customers happy.

Tasks
|
Implementation and
customization of FrontRange products and supporting desktop and networking
environments (LAN, WAN.)
Documentation of
customized systems for client and project archive.
Project Management.
Provide end user and
admin training services.
Troubleshoot software
and environment issues as needed.
Manage help desk
activities including the company knowledgebase
Manage all outside
technical vendors
Manage Multiple
projects at once
Hold departmental
meetings/ and attend executive Saga staff meetings
Maintain
certifications and manage the certification process of his/her associates
Support of junior
level engineers.

Required Skills
|

Must have 10 years experience in the following
disciplines:
Software:
Customer Relationship Management (i.e.: GoldMine, SalesLogix, Onyx, Siebel, etc.
and Helpdesk software such as HEAT™ or Trackit™)
Operating Systems:
Microsoft Operating Systems MCP Certifications or better required
Hardware:
Common PC Desktop and Networking hardware
Database:
Microsoft SQL, Oracle helpful dBase
Networking:
Must have experience setting up, administering, and troubleshooting Microsoft
Windows networks
- Must be certified in
one of the above mentioned (MCP or MCSE preferred.)
- Must have excellent
verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service

Marketing Administrator

The Marketing Administrator is responsible for the successful completion of assigned projects as well as the successful execution of a number of business processes supporting sales and marketing functions which include advertising, public relations, trade shows, direct mail, seminars, internal sales support, and marketing/sales research.

Tasks
|

Coordinate marketing communications
programs and Marketing Master Schedule.

- Monitor and
collaborate new website content.

effectiveness of communication programs and monitor progress.

- Research and

- Secure
three (3) quotes identifying contractors such as telemarketing firms,
artists, printers, etc. After submitting to CEO for approval;
commission qualified contractor.
- In charge
of maintaining a CEO pre-approved marketing calendar.

Administer Customer Service Quality Program including customer interviews.

Coordinate renewal of service contracts,
maintenance agreements and software upgrade programs.

Coordinate telephone sales of software.

prospects for software services and training
Reporting
Administrator:
The Marketing
Administrator will report to the President/CEO. This position will work as part
of a team with the Sales Manager and Sales & Marketing Project Coordinator.

Junior Technician / Help Desk Position

Job Responsibilities
|

|
The candidate will
install database applications at client's location by following a pre approved
company implementation plan. In addition, work with end users to further
customize the application to maximize the their efficiency. Integrate
sub-systems and additional applications to this same base contact management
system. Act as a liaison between Saga Solutions, LLC functional departments and
the end users, trouble shooting any additional end users operational problems.

Tasks
|
|
1.
Assist in writing project implementation plans for new
and existing clients.
2.
Estimate time needed to complete tasks requested for
job estimates.
3.
Schedule time directly with clients to complete
implementation of tasks.
4.
Install database customer relations management system
applications at client’s location on their file servers.
5.
Set-up client’s security for this system based on the
implementation plan.
6.
Install any custom applications or subsystems to
complete the clients base operating system.
7.
Assist in cleaning any legacy files if prearranged
that might exist at the client’s site then import into the newly installed
customer relations management system.
8.
Install the same application on all workstations at
the client’s site.
9.
Integrate client’s office applications such as Word,
Word Perfect and Excel to base customer relations management system at the work
station level.
10.
Work with end users setting up user preferences such
as e-mail, writing and reporting at the workstation level to assist to expedite
their workflow processes.
11.
Test all systems and workstations after installation
to assure all applications meet the implementation plan objectives.
12.
Document all technical support issues to enhance Saga
Solutions, LLC knowledge base.
13.
Keeping track of all time spent at client’s locations
for maintenance and phone support time for reporting to the bookkeeper.
14.
Trouble shoot with the assistance from the clients IT
technical staff, the software vendors technical staff, and the staff at Saga
Solutions, LLC any conflicts that might exist between the clients network and
the base customer relations management system.
15.
Communicate with staff at Saga Solutions, in advance
any potential deviations in time or implementation for a given project plan.
16.
Communicate with staff at Saga Solutions, LLC any
potential problems that might exist at the client’s location with the
implementation.
17.
Commitment to becoming certified in necessary database
applications in order to function with a greater degree of competence in the
position.
18.
Be willing to take on a supervisory or (training) roll
with new employees in similar positions.
19.
Assist in the maintenance of all Saga internal
systems.

Required Skills

Should have some prior experience working with
database applications, preferably dbase3 or 4 or FoxPro.

Should have exposure and some experience using
structured query language.

Should have valid drivers’ license and transportation.
